O'Neil She was in her high-school times when she took part in the auditions, tried out for Canadian Idol's 3rd season in the beginning of 2005. She made it to the 100th round because the judges were thrilled by her vocal performances. O'Neil was praised highly by the panel of judges. But she was a victim of major defeats in the top 10 week and Top 9 week of the finals. Her score was within the bottom three followed by the in the bottom two. The performance she gave on the 7th of September of 2005 was awe-inspiring that judge Werner predicted the newspaper headlines. O'Neil beat Rex Goudie to become the third Canadian Idol.
