Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally within the horror or martial arts genre. The style is similar that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and some morbid pleasure from these films. She began reviewing movies in late 2009 after becoming well-known in their forum. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa) She was then invited to join the Channel Awesome team. She remained on the site until early 2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts via her channel both covering the Charmed franchise and both co-hosted together with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax shows, as well sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked into the Reviewer group. She's appeared in countless Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She was a member of the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker as well as frequently appear on the episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
