Anne Phung Nguyen

Hello, my name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in the beautiful Orange County California with my amazing fiance JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry. A lot of people know my username as @annephung on Instagram, where I chronicle my journey - from the upwards to the downwards. The year 1990 was the time I emigrated to America along with my brother and parents as I reached the age of one and half. Without my parents' passion for hard work and sacrifice it is likely that I would not share my life. Knowing I had an opportunity to have a brighter future, I worked hard to impress them and had a clear vision in the direction of success. I had a set plan in life: go to university, get a job get married buy a house and have kids. Although I was convinced that this was the standard for the ideal life, reality had other strategies. In 2013 I found myself dreading going to my corporate job the money and status was not bringing me joyIt was that I was throwing my time to earn a living when I knew I was meant for more. The passion I have for fitness as well as my desire to socialize with other people led me to pursue a new career as an instructor. In 2014, I launched my business on the side and in this year in 2021, I'll be celebrating my 7th anniversary. As an Asian female working in the field, there are a many of us. My goal in this industry is to build a more durable and healthy life style that is in line with the desires of my customers. Additionally, I would like others to be empowered to follow their dreams and be able to achieve whatever it is they wish for in their life. As my professional career took off and I was advancing, my mom passed away. The loss of my mother is worst of everything. To be in Heaven she is now in peace after an 8-year battle against the disease known as Scleroderma. But I still carry her with me and think of her every day. The universe has the capacity to give us exactly what we need even when we're unable to comprehend the lesson in the moment. There are many ways that the loss of my mother changed me. I honestly believe that she offered me another chance to live through her demise. When she passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was the perfect time to start her new life, and also for me to have my second chance of living the most happy, joyful and fulfilling life. Now into my 30's I'm alive and alert. of the fact that I am living now and not merely existing like I was in my past. As I tell my story, I hope that my story will be a source of inspiration for you. I hope to help you realize that you're not alone. That you have the ability to achieve whatever you want to achieve. Since death is the only thing there is in this world I wish you a great time in the rest of your days and live without regrets.
