The actress was featured in two episodes of Showtime's Weeds with Mary Louise Parker. She has been known for playing Judy Kramer on Fox's 2005 Point Pleasant series and Marcy on Dawson's Run. In the Guiding Light soap show, she was Marina Cooper. This role earned her an award nomination from the Soap Opera Digest magazine in 2003 for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas, the ABC television show's female lead between 2007 and 2008. Dollar was a part of the 2012 NBC pilot Happy Valley which was not selected for.
